About Sex on the Table

From the outset of his culinary career, Michelin starred Chef “Fed” Federer saw the art of seduction as an inherent part of cooking. Food & Love are the two most life affirming things after all. We need food for our own personal survival. We need love to survive as a human race. Without them, we cease to exist. Food also is the only art form that touches all your five senses, which is exactly what you do when seducing your partner. It is for this reason that we believe that food and love go hand-in-hand and why ChefFed’s Sex on the Table is based on the knowledge of over 100 natural aphrodisiacs, the art of seduction, and the simultaneous stimulation of all 5 senses—feeling, touching, seeing, hearing, smelling, and tasting. At Sex On The Table, we believe that visual presentation, ambiance, and the manner in which you eat are just as important as taste. After working in some of the best kitchens in Europe and becoming a master at pairing unexpected ingredients, he moved to New York and opened a small and exclusive Members Only Social Club known as Sex On The Table, whose name originates from a comment one of his first members made after tasting one of Fed’s aphrodisiac-based creations. 3 years later, ChefFed started hosting exclusive cooking & dining events in New York, Los Angeles, Montreal, Chicago, San Francisco and the British Virgin Islands. ChefFed has since appeared on Food Network’s Chopped and he was featured on E Network’s The Fabulist. ChefFed’s Sex on the Table has been covered by the Today Show, Cosmopolitan, Maxim, Time Out New York, the Daily News, NY Post and more. Time Out New York voted ChefFed’s Sex on the Table one of the 10 coolest things to do in New York. Vimbly called it the coolest cooking class in New York.

About ChefFed

Growing up on Lake Zurich with a culinary school teacher for a mother, Chef “Fed” Federer spent plenty of his childhood in the kitchen. At 22 he decided to “go pro,” training in Switzerland’s prestigious culinary institute. He graduated at the top of his class and three short years later he received a Michelin star alongside Chef A. Blockbergen at the Auberge du Raisin on Lake Geneva. ChefFed has since cooked in some of the finest restaurants in Europe and the United States. After opening eateries in Marbella, Spain and reviving struggling restaurants in his home country, he started a high-end catering service for the Swiss Houses of Parliament. He has cooked for all Swiss sitting presidents ever since. From the outset of his culinary career, ChefFed saw the art of seduction as an inherent part of cooking. Food and Love, after all, are the two most life affirming things. But most and foremost is cooking the only art that will trigger all your five senses. Romantic seduction is just about the same. In 2010 ChefFed moved to New York. He spent 3 years running a small and exclusive Members Only Social Club and refining the Sex on the Table concept. In 2012 ChefFed started catering Sex on the Table cooking classes & dining events in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Montreal and the British Virgin Islands. He has since appeared on Food Network’s Chopped and has been featured on E! Network’s The Fabulist. ChefFed’s Sex on the Table has also been covered by the Today Show, Cosmopolitan, Maxim, Time Out New York, the Daily News, NY Post and more. ChefFed’s mission is to tantalize his guests’ senses with every dish he prepares. He teaches the use of texture to create the right feeling and he incorporates plating techniques that seduce the eye. Fed’s flavor combinations are so unique that some of the world’s most renowned perfumers reach out to him for advice. The goal is always to perfectly combine the 4 basic tastes to achieve that “Aaahhh” effect, a sensation that you normally only reveal in your bedroom.
