About Sex on the Table
From the outset of his culinary career, Michelin starred Chef “Fed” Federer saw the art of seduction as an inherent part of cooking. Food & Love are the two most life affirming things after all.
We need food for our own personal survival. We need love to survive as a human race. Without them, we cease to exist. Food also is the only art form that touches all your five senses, which is exactly what you do when seducing your partner. It is for this reason that we believe that food and love go hand-in-hand and why ChefFed’s Sex on the Table is based on the knowledge of over 100 natural aphrodisiacs, the art of seduction, and the simultaneous stimulation of all 5 senses—feeling, touching, seeing, hearing, smelling, and tasting. At Sex On The Table, we believe that visual presentation, ambiance, and the manner in which you eat are just as important as taste.
After working in some of the best kitchens in Europe and becoming a master at pairing unexpected ingredients, he moved to New York and opened a small and exclusive Members Only Social Club known as Sex On The Table, whose name originates from a comment one of his first members made after tasting one of Fed’s aphrodisiac-based creations.
3 years later, ChefFed started hosting exclusive cooking & dining events in New York, Los Angeles, Montreal, Chicago, San Francisco and the British Virgin Islands. ChefFed has since appeared on Food Network’s Chopped and he was featured on E Network’s The Fabulist. ChefFed’s Sex on the Table has been covered by the Today Show, Cosmopolitan, Maxim, Time Out New York, the Daily News, NY Post and more. Time Out New York voted ChefFed’s Sex on the Table one of the 10 coolest things to do in New York. Vimbly called it the coolest cooking class in New York.
